The Golden Retriever Club of America is the national parent club for the Golden Retriever. You can find more information about the history of our breed, health resource articles, breeders and clubs across the US, and more. 
The American Kennel Club is the most well known canine registry in the United States. They host many types of events and activities, as well as provide helpful information on all things dog for almost no cost.
The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals uses a board of specialists to evaluate X-rays of hips and elbows to determine the risk or severity of dysplasia. Additionally, OFA contains a database used by breeders nationwide to store the results of many health tests. The database is free to the public to view records, and is a great way to research the dogs and breeders you're considering.
The Center for Pet Safety is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the safety of your pet. They perform crash tests on crates and harnesses in order to help you make the best decision for your pet regarding car safety.
