President’s Report

• Thanks to all who helped with the specialty, it went very smoothly, and we received lots of nice comments, the judges had a good time as well. Thanks also to the awards committee for their efforts for the banquet.

Secretary’s Report

• Minutes from March meeting read by Rachel, no corrections. (Tammy/Lorene)

• We have a full roster for our membership, all attendees were handed the complete membership list.

Old Business

• Breeder Education (Debbie)

  • No updates, will reach out to Alice’s vet about scheduling a breeder’s education about PennHip vs OFA.

• Puppy Referral (Rachel)

  • Andrea Kirch. Discussion was had about encouraging puppy referrals to call everyone on the list.

• Member/Public Education (Christa/Dawn)

  • N/A

• Website (Rachel)

  • Discussed latest traffic metrics for website.

• Facebook Group (Christa/Kelli)

  • Removed Katie Staehly and Cheri Faulhaber

• Facebook Page (Lorene)

  • 2334 views, 307 engagements, 5 new followers. Discussed trying to encourage more people to follow so we can go live on the club page next year.

• Hospitality/Awards (Christa/Debbie)

  • Debbie went over the history of the trophies, it was decided that going forward the awards should be a two person job, as it went a lot more smoothly with both Christa and Debbie working on it.

• 2025 Specialty (Lorene/Robin)

  • Great job everybody, we had no fights with Onofrio, in fact, they were oddly nice. We had 97 regular entries, 24 sweeps, 14 rally/obedience. We received a check of $1,887.25 from Onofrio. JoAnna stayed two nights at the hotel, our agreement was to cover one night or $150. Chintimini paid for both nights, We will be charged for two nights, JoAnna will reimburse us. Discussed asking Amy to do Sweeps next year. Robin brought up hiring Stella Rolette to judge obedience next year.

• Chintimini KC Eye Clinic (Christa)

  • It went well, we received many compliments on how well organized our clinic was, we had 83 exams and went a little overtime, finished at around 4:30. Gross income was $3,320, made around $1,245 $1000 in profit. Thank you to the volunteers.

• Clackamas KC Eye Clinic (Jeanie)

  • No updates

  • Kelli declined her nomination, there was a vote via ballot, results are as follows:
