Board Meeting

January 21, 2026

Attendance: Lorene Jones, Bridgett & Jim Highley, Rachel Read, Christa Thompson, Robin Murphy, Tammy Pengelly, Debbie Berry, Jeanie Schuldt, Alice Brown

Call to Order: 6:33 PM

• Secretary’s Report

  • December’s minutes were read by Rachel, no corrections were made. Tammy made a motion to accept the minutes as read, Jeanie seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

• Treasurer’s Report

  • General Account: $14,655.32

    • Activity - $70 deposited from member and breeder referral applications, as well as miscellaneous interest. $100 paid to GRCA for our club fees, and $75.91 for the Christmas Party.

  • Specialty Account: $10,162.36

    • Activity - $125 Specialty application fee was paid, purchased checks for the specialty account for $41. Income was miscellaneous interest.

  • Robin motioned to approve the Treasurer’s Report. Rachel seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

  • Robin said she received an email about this year’s tax form, Jeanie said that had been taken care of.

  • Robin brought up having the board meetings on the even months, but it was determined that it would be better to continue having our board meetings on the odd months (January, March, May, July, September, November) since our big events fall on even months, thereby giving Jeanie more time to get the numbers together for the Specialty and clinics.

  • N/A

• Jeanie motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:42 PM. Rachel seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
