• Introductions

President's Report

• We are at the bottom of the ninth inning with two weeks left in the specialty, with the awards banquet soon after that, we've got this!

Secretary's Report

• Minutes from February meeting read by Rachel, no corrections. Motion: Christa; Second: Kelli

• Correspondence: Email from AKC reminding us to send the updated Officers after the election.

Treasurer's Report

• General Account: $13,695.18

  • Expenses: $180 for the room at the eye clinic in June, $65.07 in Christmas reimbursement checks to Robin, $34.95 for printing Awards Applications, $23 for the website, $125 to AKC, $245.34 for check blanks.

  • Received $30 in membership payments.

• Specialty Account: $10,309.01

  • Expenses: $150 - tables for specialty, $125 to AKC.

  • Received some pennies in interest.

Vice President's Report

• Everyone is accounted for except for Katie who has been corresponded with. Asked for permission to remove her from the Facebook group. No motion necessary.

  • Hospitality/Awards (Christa) - Awards Banquet is April 12th at 3pm at the Cascade Grill in Albany, all the trophies are accounted for and at the engravers. The table will be set up at the banquet by Debbie, we do need a final headcount to provide to the restaurant. A post will be made to the Facebook group to figure out who all is planning to be there.

• 2025 Specialty (Lorene/Robin) Thursday, April 3rd, 2025

  • Show Chair (Lorene) We are sharing our conformation judge with the Siberian Husky Club, they are starting conformation at 10:00AM which will last approximately 2 hours, putting our start time for regular conformation at around 1:00PM. The doors open at 6:00AM. We do have permission to move ring gates. Sibes are picking up the Conformation judge at the airport, Robin is picking up the Obedience judge from the airport. Sibes asked if they can use our steward, the answer is no, as our steward is also doing sweeps.

  • Obedience (Robin) Obedience stewards are on board, they are asking about a time, preference is 9:00AM but will determine start time based on entry numbers. Stuffies are not yet ordered, Debbie will place the order when we have a count.

  • Sweeps (Debbie) Has been in contact with JoAnna, Amy is coming with her, JoAnna will pay for Anna's expenses. Both are interested in being approved to judge Goldens so it will be a nice experience for them.

  • Raffle (Debbie) Is going well, is acquiring baskets and donations, is going to need assistance with setup.

  • Trophies (Christa) 1st place trophies are completed, ribbons are queued up but need a count asap before placing the order. The supported entry for Saturday (April 5th) didn't make it into the premium, we should discuss whether or not to continue doing it in the future, as it doesn't really benefit the club. This will be tabled to a future meeting.

  • Hospitality (Jeanie/Tammy) Need a final count for lunches.

    • Breakfast Items for hospitality table - Discussion was had about where to put the hospitality table, this is for members and exhibitors.

    • Judges' requests for ringside

  • Decorations (Rachel) decorations coming along, we decided that the sign is fine to use. Table signs for the specialty signs, $10 for the gold vinyl was approved. Dawn, Doug, Jim & Bridgett offered to help set up the decorations.

• Chintimini KC Eye Clinic (Christa) Saturday, April 5th, 2025. Sarah is good to go. Christa is receiving appointments, needs names for volunteers. Rachel is going to print signs and will hang them around the show site. Clinic in Willamette Building, Conference Room 1.

• Clackamas County KC Eye Clinic (Jeanie) June 21, 2025, 10:00AM - 4:00PM. Jeanie has not yet heard from the super about the premium with the announcement for the eye clinic.

New Business

• Mad House Graphics will be at the Chintimini show in case anyone is wanting to purchase shirts.
