• Discussed financial report for the Specialty and April eye clinic.

• Breeder Education (Debbie)

  • Discussed scheduling Alice’s vet for a breeder education meeting in the fall, and doing a grooming lesson during the summer. Tammy brought up doing it at Millersburg park since it’s a nice park with adequate shade and restrooms, but it’s a popular park. Discussed possibly July 19th or 20th. Tammy will figure out what it costs to rent the park.

• Puppy Referral (Rachel)

  • Tim Pack reached out in April regarding OC Goldens (“English Cream” breeder), he lost a Golden to cancer at 4 and isn’t ready for another dog quite yet but wants to start looking. Discussed the truth about English Cream as well as claims that the backyard breeder was making about European lines vs American lines. Referred to the breeders on our list.

  • Discussed latest traffic metrics for website.

• Facebook Group (Christa/Kelli)

  • 403 views, 11 engagements, 5 new followers.

• Awards (Debbie/Christa)

  • The Awards banquet went well, Robin was awarded the Golden Ambassador award but we don’t know where it is. We will most likely need to order a new one.

• 2026 Specialty

  • Robin had volunteered to be the Show Chair, but there are a lot of people not here so we will discuss roles/volunteers for the specialty next month.

• CKC June Eye Clinic (Jeanie)

  • Jeanie not present, Rachel showed the map of the fairgrounds and where the clinic will be held.

New Business

• Add Alice as an admin to the website as a backup. Motion: Lorene / Second: Kelli

• Debbie will reach out to Chintimini KC with a list of judges for next year.
