• Breeder Education (Debbie)

  • November 20th, 2024. Debbie said she had confirmed that Dr Sarah Maxwell will attend that day, and offered compensation for her time.

  • [Amendment on November 20th, 2024 by Rachel Read] - Debbie had attempted to contact Sarah, asked about attending the November meeting, has not yet heard back. [Motioned by Christa, Seconded by Jim on 11/20/2024].

• Puppy Referral (Kathy)

• Member/Public Education (Dawn/Christa)

  • Heart clinic is a no-go for 2025 but eye clinic is still happening. Discussing the possibility of Heart Clinic for 2026.

• Website (Rachel)

  • Site visitors peaked on Sept 30 and Oct 5 at 14 site visits, most page visits is the puppy referral page at 178 and the home page at 159. Still working on uploading historical club documents and minutes as well as resolving the popup that appears on the mobile menu.

• Private Facebook Group (Christa)

• Public Facebook Page (Lorene)

  • 21 visitors, 6 engagements, 1 new follower.

  • Discussed inviting people to join the club

  • Christa asked about whether we have a link to the club Facebook page on the website (we do).

• Hospitality/Awards (Christa)

  • Awards committee meeting on November 13th.

• April 2024 Specialty (Lorene)

  • No updates with Onofrio about the ribbons, given up on a response at this point.

• T-Shirts (Tammy)

  • No order was placed, will revisit at Christmas Party or in January.

• 2025 Specialty (Lorene/Robin)

  • Received premium to approve.

    • Make sure to include plush toys in the premium.

      • Discussion about limiting the amount of stuffies we are awarding to entries in order to reduce costs. It was decided that stuffies will be awarded only to placements in both Sweeps and Obedience.

      • Robin brought up sponsoring a Loser's Raffle for Obedience.

    • Obedience(?) Judge is Bonnie Lee from Las Vegas, NV.

    • Kelli McCulloch no longer stewarding for Sweeps, visiting the possibility of using the same stewards for both Sweeps and Breed. Kerry Schlect maybe?

    • Sweeps Judge contenders: Cheyenne Schlect, Robert Simpson, Joanna(?), Martin Glover, Cary Wikeoff

• New Business

  • Kathy and Judy budget for Christmas Party Ham, etc., up to $100, motioned by Bridgett, seconded by Christa

  • $25 limit for gift exchange

  • Discussed how PRGRCO is going to move forward with regard to the new GRCA Sweepstakes criteria update.
