    • Rachel, Debbie, and Bridgett have volunteered to be the CCA committee.

  • Christmas Party

    • Robin’s brother’s house, December 6th or 13th. The general consensus was December 6th at 2:00 PM

      • Christa thanked Debbie on behalf of the club for leading the discussion on correct structure for the Golden Retriever.

      • Discussed the latest site metrics. Is playing around with how the photos should look on the Member Awards page. The Specialty page is available to the public to view but still waiting for the list of trophies to sponsor before adding that as an option to the page.

      • Went over page activity. We discussed advertising about the upcoming clinics and including a link to the website.

      • The perpetual Golden Ambassador trophy is complete, it cost $44. 

      • There are several trophies which need their bases upgraded because they have been filled, Jim Thompson is a woodworker and is happy to do the work, will charge $55 per trophy base. 

      • The Amateur Owner-Handler Plaque also needs to be upgraded. Bring it to next month’s meeting and we’ll see about removing the plastic piece.

    • 2026 Specialty:

      • Show Chair (Robin)

        • Submitted the form for the Specialty as far as she can without judges. Has paid all the fees. 

        • We need to determine how many tables we need. Our deadline is December 1st. 

        • Is waiting on the contract from Onofrio.

        • We need 2 conference rooms for the eye clinic

      • Obedience Chair (Karen/Robin)

        • No updates

      • Sweeps (Debbie)

        • Kari Schlect is stewarding for both sweeps and the regular classes

        • Amy Rosling is judging Sweeps and Juniors

        • They are getting lots of stuff. They are going to reach out to Stacia White, and Debbie is going to reach out to her contacts about general monetary donations.

      • Trophies & Ribbons (Christa)

      • Judges (Debbie)

        • Narrowed the list down to Sidney Marx, Rick Gschwender, Greg Anderson, Debbie Clausen. Debbie is going to pick and let Christa and Robin know who we get.

    • CKC April Eye & Heart Clinics (Christa/Kelli)

      • We are pretty well set for both clinics.

      • We need at least 15 echos. Dr Wallace charges $250 for echos and $50 for auscultations.

      • Dr Wallace takes 20 minutes for echos and 5 minutes for auscultations.

      • Cost for the conference rooms is $30/hr or $300/day. We would be paying $210 for each room.

      • Club will charge $325 for echos, $65 for auscultation, $40 for eyes.

      • Lorene is going to work on setting up SignUp Genius* so we can have a preschedule/prepayment option on the website.

• New Business

  • Lorene asked about us sharing an eye clinic with the Boston Terrier Club for half a day at the Silver Falls KC show on March 7th, 2026.

  • Tammy brought up booking a bagpiper for the specialty. Tammy’s mom will cover the cost. We could possibly do it between the regular classes and Best of Breed. 

  • Discussed playing the National Anthem before 8:00 AM at the Specialty.

  • PRGRCO sign does not need to be repaired.

  • Possibly get an additional sign and/or welcome banner.
